Tomorrowland shares behind the scenes documentary of Tomorrowland Around the World

Tomorrowland has made a documentary showing how they managed to put together their gigantic virtual festival last summer. ‘Never stop the music – The Creation of Tomorrowland Around the World' out now available on YouTube!

The 18 minute documentary gives the word to 25 of the festival’s headliners, including Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte and Afrojack. They give the viewer a peek behind the curtain and show how the directors used special effects to bring the event to life. Of course the artist’s also touch on their music choices for the event. Tomorrowland had already disclosed their festival took four different video studio's on four continents, 38 cameras and the processing of 300 terabytes of raw footage.

In a normal year, Tomorrowland draws ten of thousands of visitors to Belgium to enjoy the best the world of Dance, House, Techno, Trance and Hardstyle has to offer. But due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, this year had to be cancelled. Instead Tomorrowland organized the biggest virtual festival we had seen to date. A million people visited the two day festival, which had 60 different artists performing on 8 different virtual stages.

Due to the success of the last Tomorrowland around the World, a second version during New Year’s Eve has already been announced. Unfortunately there isn't any info released about the line-up yet.
