The time is here, Akai has released the MPK Mini MK3! The third edition of the popular Akai Mini MIDI keyboard. Loved by home producers and professionals alike. The new version will have a 2nd generation dynamic keyboard, new rotary knows and a new OLED display.
The Akai MPK Mini MK2 has been a popular keyboard for many years. Users love it's versatility and lots of different controls. Now Akai has come with the new MK3 and luckily they haven't changed what people loved. The MK3 still offers an array of pads, dials, sliders and of course a keyboard.
The keyboard of the MPK MINI MK3 is Akai's 2nd generation dynamic keyboard, Akai’s most responsive mini-keybed to date. Akai also improved the percussion pads, using the pads from their flagship MPC series, allowing you to add a real human touch and playability to your beats.
With the new rotary knobs, you can control any assignable parameter in your DAW or plugin, giving you the freedom to change whatever you want on the fly. Akai has also added a new OLED display to the MK3. This display gives you essential visual feedback, like your DAW mode selection, velocity or plugin parameters. So you have to spend less time looking at your computer screen, instead you can give your instrument the full edition it deserves.
The Akai MPK Mini MK3 comes with the newly released Akai MPC Beats software and a free sample package. The Akai MPC Beats software offers different samples, effects, synth engines and will even take AU/VST plugins, so you can add any synth you find online. The sample package offers some of the best samples by the best sound designers in the world, like F9 Instruments, Decap, Sample Tools by Cr2, MSX Sound Design and others. Making it an amazing bundle for new producers that are starting from scratch.
The Akai MPK Mini MK3 is available now for €99 on Thomann.
