Updated: Feb 11, 2021

Pro Skater Tony Hawk is selling his extremely rare X-Ray vinyl single of The Avalanches. All the profits he makes from selling the vinyl will go to his non-profit organisation Skatepark Project, which builds skate parks in disadvantaged communities.

The Australian electronic music group The Avalanches, with help of the Melbourne based custom vinyl factory Small Run, have released a limited edition vinyl pressing of their new single “Reflecting Light". Only 12 copies were made and a X-ray of Tony Hawk's broken hand is used as the album cover.

Tony Hawk is selling his own copy to help fund his non-profit organisation, Skatepark Project. The organisation is dedicated to building public skate parks in disadvantaged communities. So far they have raised $10 million to fund 600 public skate parks in the US. The also raised $150.000 for the Skateistan project in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa.

The vinyl is not auctioned off to the highest bidder, instead anybody can donate any amount here and have a chance of winning the vinyl. The more you donate, the more entries you get, the more chance you have a of winning the record. So go donate some money! You wont only have a change of winning some amazing vinyl, you're also helping disadvantaged kids that just want to skateboard in a nice park instead of on the streets.
